Outlook contact card not updating accommodating esl students classroom
Rather than waiting 24 hours for Outlook to update the Offline Address Book on its own, you can force an update via the Send/Receive menu button.
You can disable the option “Download changes since last Send/Receive” to make sure you get a complete fresh copy of the OAB but this could take longer to download.
Use the Contact Card to create a record in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.
This article describes the Contact Card feature in Business Contact Manager for Outlook, how you might use it, and how to select the information displayed in the card.
Outlook Social Connector is normal - I have it on my contacts as well.In general, Outlook will automatically update the Offline Address Book (OAB) for Exchange accounts once every 24 hours. When it didn’t or when you want to make sure you do have the latest OAB available, you could manually trigger an update from within Outlook as well. You can select all of them by selecting the first one, scrolling to the end of the list, and click the last item. This will update contact information, pictures, phone numbers, etc. Now you have the most up-to-date information from Active Directory in your local address book. Under Send/Receive Groups, you should see an option to "Download Address Book." Now you will be prompted for a few options, and you can choose to update from the Global Address List (this is how your AD should push out contacts). I download the full address book and it loads for a couple of seconds. I open some contact which I haven't updated yet, click on update - it is updated.
